    Project Description    
The City of Ferndale will use this grant to develop Metalworks Skate Park, a new outdoor 10,000 square foot skate/bike park. The skate park will be located directly south of the Downtown core at the City's Pioneer Park complex. The area is adjacent to the Boys and Girls Clubhouse, elementary school, ballfields, and Star Park. Funded elements include the skatepark features, shade structures, stormwater ultilities and landscaping improvements.The primary recreational opportunity provided by this project will be skateboarding and biking.
